If you’ve been wondering how to get rid of pimples, then you should read this article. I’m going to provide you with information that will help you spot symptoms, prescribe treatments and prevent spots and acne scars in the future.
For teenagers pimples is almost something which just needs to be excepted. You see, at that age your hormones are going crazy and this is whats causing the spots to appear. However, acne can be toned down to become almost unnoticeable with a few easy treatments.
If your older and your getting spots or even having trouble getting rid of acne scars then there are that you can sort that out too. I will just mention however, that if you are pregnant you may well also get spots because, like being a teen, your hormones are unsettled.
The general symptoms of acne are…
- oily skin
- spots of either yellow or red color
- white heads & blackheads
- scars
- angry lesions
There is no single one acne cure and what may clear pimples for one person may have minimal effects on another. However, over time there have been a few ways to treat pimples which have a high enough success rate to merit their mention.
But before we go deeper into those, I’d like to cover a few ways to prevent pimples from reappearing in the future. The first and most important one being to keep clean. You should always wash the infected areas thoroughly a few times a day at least and make sure that your hands are clean and aren’t in constant contact with your face.
Often times you can stop spots by simply taking a few precautions. I’ve observed many people with bad cases of acne touching their faces a lot. This is no doubt because they are subconsciously self conscious about their pimples. However, this makes the situation worse as dirt will get into the acne and make it worse.
If you can’t seem to get rid of your pimples after keeping them clean and not not touching them, then you might want to consider medicine treatments. What you’ll usually find is that the specific treatments designed to remove a certain type of pimple will be the most effective. For example if you want to get rid of blackheads, then be sure to buy treatments for that and not a general acne cure.
